How do I install a FIN?

To install a FIN GPS Security device, please use the following as a guide:

• All that is required is the RED(+) and BLACK(-) wires. All other wires can be cut and insulated.
• RED(+) requires a CONSTANT HOT connection. DO NOT connect to switched power or ignition.
• The BLACK(-) wire requires ground to metal on the frame (for most vehicles) or the negative battery terminal.
• You can connect directly to the battery, but try to mount the device in a hidden location.
• The best orientation for satellite and cellular signal is barcode facing down if horizontal, or harness facing down if vertical.
• Try to avoid installing directly under metal.
