My account expired but my vehicle has been stolen. Can you still help?

  • In most cases, we can still help, but it depends on how long your FIN device was inactive.
  • If expired, there is a non-refundable reactivation fee, along with a non-refundable annual renewal fee, totaling $139.90.
  • Note that the chances of recovery drop from over 95% to below 50% if the FIN device is not active. Among several factors, this is due to (a) you're not being alerted of movement in a timely manner and being unaware it was stolen, and (b) we cannot review recent history to see location data, battery voltage, and whether the battery of the vehicle was disconnected.
  • We will always do our best to assist, but keeping your device active greatly increases the chances of a successful recovery!
